A prerequisite for AutoCAD is that a graphics card with at least OpenGL 2.0 support be installed on your PC. This requires a DirectX 9 graphics card, but there are older Windows operating systems that are DirectX 9 compatible. If your graphics card does not support OpenGL 2.0, the drawing will not load properly. To check if your card supports OpenGL 2.0, right-click the desktop and click on the ‘Create Desktop Shortcut’ option. A dialog box should appear; if you don’t see it, you don’t have OpenGL 2.0 support. Check for a free DirectX 9 graphics card at the Hardware and Software section of Wikipedia.
Installation
To install AutoCAD, you’ll need to download the installer and run it. You can find the AutoCAD installer by opening the Autodesk website. Download the installer from the Autodesk website.
The Autodesk installer is about 1.2 GB in size and is split into several parts. Here’s what each part contains:

Open the Autocad.exe file in notepad and copy the entire content to notepad.
Paste the contents into the Autocad.exe file.
Open Autocad and start a new drawing by either selecting File / New / Drawing or use the shortcut key Ctrl+N. (Autocad is free for personal use so you do not need to pay anything to use it.)
Right-click on the new drawing and select “Add” then choose “Select All” and “Remove” as shown below.
Make sure to check all boxes by clicking on the “OK” button.

Right-click the new document and select “Save” and “Save As” to save the changes. Enter a file name in the dialog box and select the Save as type for text documents (.txt).
The last step is to run the xkeygen command and save the key to a file.
Enter the -keyfile c:\yourkey.txt command, and then click the OK button.
Do not close the Autocad application.
The next step is to open the xkeygen.bat file that was downloaded to the computer you used the xkeygen command from earlier. (If you got an error message you may have to activate your antivirus program if it has been disabled).
Open the xkeygen.bat file.
Click on the Read More button to open the Read me file.
Scroll down and copy and paste the xkeygen.exe file’s location on your hard drive to the end of the xkeygen.bat file. (In my example, I have the location: C:\Program Files\AutoCAD 2010\AutoCAD\xkeygen.exe).
You will need to manually enter the xkeygen.exe location in the xkeygen.bat file if you don’t have it stored on your hard drive. Use the same location format as the xkeygen.exe file for the following command.
