This feature might be a huge player in driving adoption for Inbox, but it’s a simple one. As per Inbox’s current tutorial, you’ll receive text messages or emails containing a “quick reply” option.

What’s that? I don’t have that.

You don’t, and that’s awesome.

Not everyone will be able to use this feature, but I really do think it’s an awesome addition to Gmail. It’s something that’s so simple you really can’t argue with it. I know there are a lot of things Google could do to improve Inbox, but the one addition to the feature that would help Inbox be successful would be the ability to receive quick replies from someone outside your “buddy list.”
