    Battle System

    The battles flow around you in an almost first-person manner, but you can switch to third person for a more traditional view of combat. The system is very fluid and easy to pick up, but it allows for some complexities on the field of battle. Each encounter offers the opportunity for variable strategies, as you must learn to pick your battles carefully. When engaged with an enemy, your avatar takes a turn, allowing you to think tactically for the best outcome. When they are down, they can participate as well. Some foes require healing before you can fight again, while others may just need to be taken out of the fray for awhile.

    Combat

    Combat in the new fantasy action RPG is done in real-time. Since this is a turn based system, multiple attacks can go into one motion, and they can be as elaborate or as simple as you want. If you are able to knock an enemy off the field, you will take their actions in the next turn. Your chosen or skillful actions have an impact on how your performance will turn out, while some weapons and armor can greatly enhance your strength. Equipping and choosing from a range of weapons and armor can alter the way you fight, all the way down to simple ointments of healing that will let you keep fighting.
