I would like to see that before a select box with a bunch of options is shown, that there is atleast one of the options filled into it. Is there a method to to this? I’ve tried something like the JS shown below, but I don’t find that input type=”select” option to be working.

another game where i felt rushed. Even though i dont think it needed any more time to put it out, it seems like u rushed it. the plot kind of got me by surprise and when i got to the end there was more of a narrative arc. that said there wasnt an explanation of what the blizzard tribe were that were after the book but at least you did introduce them. i believe in the lore the blizzard tribe were a good threat but overall it was kinda rushed and i was wondering where the story was headed. i think i like the concept of the game but the execution of it just didnt come off for me.

The translation is so good and in fact really original, it’s not like the translations you see on this platform, i really recommend it to everyone because it’s a great game, i just wish it was longer, but i’ll get used to it.

I will just get right to it. A lot of my friends didn’t like this game. But as far as i’m concerned it’s my favorite game on the Wii U.
The Story is really original. It’s a continuation of the first game. I’m surprised that the developers only lasted one year.
The gameplay and the style is quite different from the first game. I have to say i like the new style.

I have been inspired to share my experiences by the many awesome and intelligent writers that I have been reading. My first inspiration was Robert Jordan, as the first book he published me allowed me to discover who and what he was. From there I found Grant Morrison, whom I’ve had a deep connection with since I read the New X-Men I when I was in middle school. He was both one of the first writers to encourage female artists and writers and the one who taught me that to create something new is to question what the world thinks you should create. Then there was Rachel Greene, who showed me that art is allowed to question and challenge and shine a light on things that need to be heard.
Without these writers, I would only be able to write some of what was in my mind.
Today my channel is filled with art, stories of my personal experiences, creations, and viewpoints. I write about intergender friendships and sex and gender identities. I want to ask questions and give answers and help. I want to share my art with other creators, but I also want to help drive the community more for everyone. I also want to make myself better. Rails character issue when value is read from database
I have a small Ruby on Rails app that models characters in a fantasy roleplaying game.
In the system, I have a field where users can enter their attributes.
The field gets created as a text field in the database, and when the user enters their stats they are stored as a varchar column in the table.
The issue I’m having is if the user enters a string like “str” for strength, instead of reading it as “strength” (as I’d expect), it is reading it as “str”, so the stats for strength become “str2”.
How can I get it so that strings that are entered are stored correctly in the database?
